Athletic Background: Squash, Football, Drinking.

Biggest sporting achievement to date?: Iron Man UK 2014, Berlin Marathon 2015, Challenge Roth 2016.

Favourite workout?: Neg Splits / Chainy.

Least Favourite Workout?: I enjoy pretty much every training session but carnatic hill reps is prob my least favourite.

Worst Habit ?: Not swimming enough.

Favourite song to train to / motivate?: Either Metal (Metallica etc) or DnB.(Andy C)

Something about you that many people do not know?: I often have to stop for the loo in a bush when I'm out on a long run. Always pack the bog roll!

If you could tell other athletes one thing you have learned so far in your training what would it be?: Consistency is key and proper rest.

What is your ultimate goal as an athlete?: Sub 3 hour marathon.

Favourite Race / Course?: Berlin Marathon and any Tri's in the Lakes or Wales.

What's your most memorable racing moment?: Completing Iron Man UK in 2014 which was my first full Iron Man. The whole of experience of training in the months up to it and fully embracing the triathlon lifestyle, meeting great people and getting fully in the zone. Been hooked since!

Any unusual race day routines or superstitions?: Just a decent Iron Man sized bowl of porridge and a coffee.

What race / event / ride is on your bucket list?: Iron Man Lanza.

Swim: 2XU/Zoggs.

Bike: Focus Cayo / Planet X Stealth TT.

Run: New Balance

Nutrition of choice: Malt Loaf & Peanut butter / Cliff Shot Bloks / SIS electrolytes.

What piece of equipment couldn't you live without?: Garmin 920xt
